Ingredients
- 6 ounces Bow-tie Pasta
- 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into thin strips
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 small red bell peppers, cut into thin strips
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2t garlic powder or 1 clove minced garlic
- 1/4t pepper
- 3 oz cream cheese
- Cook pasta according to package directions.
- Heat olive oil in large skillet over medium high heat. Add chicken. Cook and stir 4 to 5 minutes, or until chicken is lightly browned. Remove chicken and add broccoli, red peppers, garlic, pepper and chicken broth. Cover and cook, stirring occasionally, 5-7 minutes or until broccoli is tender.
- Return chicken to skillet. Cook 1 minute longer. Remove from heat. Add cheese then pasta, combining gently until cheese is melted and smooth.
